FIDSI celebrates National Consumer Day, emphasizes consumer rights and transparency in direct selling
On the occasion of National Consumer Day, the Federation of Indian Direct Selling Industry (FIDSI) extended its congratulations to government departments, stakeholders, and associations for their efforts in promoting and protecting consumer rights. FIDSI acknowledged the critical role played by consumer affairs departments in raising awareness and appreciated the impact of government policies in safeguarding consumers.
Adv. Abhilash Thomas, President of FIDSI, highlighted the collective responsibility of industry stakeholders in upholding consumer rights and reiterated the federation’s commitment to collaborating with the government and other partners to enhance consumer protection initiatives.
FIDSI’s founding members – Mr. Manish Marwaha, Mr. Divyansh Agarwal, Mr. Gopal Kundu, Mr. Rajesh Srivastava, and Mr. Ambrish Ranjan – were credited for their instrumental contributions in fostering transparency and consumer awareness across the nation.
General Secretary Mr. Rahul Sudan is spearheading a series of consumer education initiatives and outreach programs across states, aimed at strengthening consumer awareness and protection efforts.
FIDSI reaffirmed its mission to promote ethical practices, ensure transparency, and support the growth of the direct selling sector in India. The federation emphasized its dedication to working closely with government bodies and industry stakeholders to maintain integrity in consumer-related matters.
