Mahindra has achieved a significant milestone by delivering 100,000 units of its XUV700 SUV within a span of 20 months since its launch. The first 50,000 units were delivered in 12 months, with the remaining 50,000 units handed over in just eight months, averaging around 5,000 units per month.

The XUV700 continues to experience high demand, with a reported 78,000 open orders for the SUV. To tackle the order backlog, Mahindra has increased its monthly production to 8,000 units.

Currently, the delivery timeline extends to around 13 months, with waiting periods ranging from 11 to 13 months for the top-spec AX7 and AX7 L variants. The MX and AX3 variants have a waiting period of approximately 6 to 8 months. Mahindra’s achievement reflects the strong market demand for the XUV700, and efforts to improve production capacity aim to fulfill customer orders more efficiently.
