Rupesh Tejani, founder of Sunglassic, has launched an eyewear brand focused on providing affordable luxury sunglasses. Tejani, who grew up in Varal village in Bhavnagar and later moved to Surat for education, started his business in 2013 while pursuing his FYBCOM degree.
In 2019, Tejani officially launched Sunglassic with the goal of offering stylish sunglasses at lower price points. The brand emphasizes quality and trendy designs while maintaining affordability. All Sunglassic products come with UV400 protection, a one-year warranty, and an easy returns policy.
The global sunglasses market was valued at $16.8 billion in 2021 and is projected to reach $27.4 billion by 2028, according to Grand View Research. Sunglassic aims to capture a portion of this market in the affordable luxury segment.
Tejani states that the company plans to expand into new markets and product lines in the future. The brand’s focus remains on providing accessible luxury eyewear options to a broader consumer base.
