Polygon leads crypto gains at +2.57% on May 27; Bitcoin flat at ₹72.55L

Crypto markets leaned broadly positive on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, with Polygon surging 2.57% to lead gainers as Bitcoin held near ₹72.55 lakh.

Crypto markets presented a largely constructive picture in the 24-hour snapshot as of Wednesday, 27 May 2026, with eight of the ten tracked tokens posting gains and only two in the red — both by negligible margins.

Bitcoin traded at ₹72.55 lakh (approximately $75,820), slipping a barely perceptible 0.01% over the period — effectively unchanged. The world’s largest digital asset held its ground even as smaller tokens registered more noticeable moves in either direction. Ethereum climbed a modest 0.53% to ₹1.99 lakh, adding to the positive tone across the broader market.

Among the mid-cap tokens, Solana advanced 0.76% to ₹8,059.01, while XRP rose 0.46% to ₹127.63. BNB was the session’s weakest performer, slipping just 0.06% to ₹62,696.09 — a decline so marginal it scarcely qualifies as a loss. Chainlink moved 0.61% higher to ₹902.55.

Further down the table, Cardano edged up 0.21% to ₹22.99, and Dogecoin notched a 1.02% gain to settle at ₹9.75 — placing it among the better performers of the day.

Polygon was the standout mover, surging 2.57% to ₹20.88, making it the top gainer across all ten tokens tracked in this snapshot. Polkadot followed with a 1.58% advance to ₹121.33, claiming the second spot on the gainers’ table. Dogecoin’s 1.02% rise to ₹9.75 rounded out the top three.

On the losing side, the picture was remarkably quiet. BNB’s 0.06% decline to ₹62,696.09 placed it at the foot of the table, followed by Bitcoin’s 0.01% dip. Cardano, despite appearing in third position on the losers’ list, actually finished the period in positive territory at +0.21% — underlining just how thin the selling pressure was across the market.

With the overwhelming majority of tracked assets in the green and losses confined to fractions of a per cent, the overall direction of the crypto market over this 24-hour window was decidedly positive. The USD/INR rate used for conversions in this snapshot stood at ₹95.69.
